Continuing Education Workshop – 3 Schwinn Credits

Duration : half day / 4 hours
Content : The connection between mind and body is not only reserved for high-performance athletes – it is a fundamental element of every successful training experience. In this four-hour workshop, you will discover how mental focus, motivation, and clear goal setting can transform not only your classes, but also the way your participants approach their daily lives.
You will explore how thoughts influence performance, how focus shapes outcomes, and how motivation can be built, maintained, and transferred into action. As an instructor, your role goes beyond leading a workout – you guide people through challenges, help them stay consistent, and support them in achieving meaningful progress.
During this workshop, we will provide clear answers to essential questions such as:
Why is it so important to focus on specific goals?
Why do you need to define your own goals and how can you help others define theirs?
You will learn practical tools and coaching strategies to create a stronger connection with your riders, inspire long-term commitment, and build classes that go beyond physical effort. From cueing techniques to communication styles, you will understand how to influence mindset in a positive and powerful way.
By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped to design experiences that motivate, engage, and empower helping your riders not only perform better on the bike, but also develop habits and mental strength that extend far beyond the cycling studio.
